If you are considering a gold mining venture and are not yet certain of your deposits, your equipment or your procedures; we recommend gathering together the most successful, experienced consulting team you can find to assist you in putting your mining operation on the right track.
Obtaining a return on the entire investment you will make in setting up your mining operation, purchasing equipment,
creating the support logistics -- all depends upon the performance of your initial sampling team.
Our Pro-Mack consulting team has master-level ability to evaluate your mining properties. This will be the make-or-break difference between possibly abandoning an area, or making a major gold strike.
If you still have any uncertainties about the importance of acquiring a highly-trained and motivated consulting team, and all of the different factors which are involved, we recommend you view Dave McCracken's video: Successful Commercial Gold Dredging And Sampling Techniques.

I was watching the new show on TLC (I believe that is the channel) called Alaska Gold Rush. It's about a crew of 7-10 men that are all either laid off or close to being out of work due to the recession. After investing 150k in equipment They move to Alaska in search of the yellow metal.
I was thinking of trying to get a small crew of friends up as I live in TN & wanted to plan a trip to North GA to prospect. My question is, how can this be done in GA? On the show the men rent out a gold claim, but are there claims in GA? Seems like all the land in these parts are all deeded up & there lies the problem.
There's an abandoned mine in GA along the Etowah river that produced a crap load of gold. Then the California gold rush spawned & all the experienced miners left for CA & left a lot of gold in the ground. Also there are legends of cherokee indians burying treasures before being forced off their land in GA. I'm thinking there's still gold to be had. Who lives in the SE United States & is with me for a weekend adventure in the spring?
I've mined there several times. The best way I've found is to join a group that leases private property. Other that that ,you'll be able to go to the roadside tourist mines and buy enriched ore. Fake gold mining.
