While much of the scientific community studying ways to colonize other planets, a team of researchers led by Cesar Harada plans to create a kind of station in the ocean that can remain at sea in a completely sustainable and autonomous.
The project, called Open Sailing, aims to create new forms human society while encouraging the proliferation of the ecosystem around them. The habitat would bring some concepts of the International Space Station to the ocean, in a structure formed by several smaller separate modules, each with specific functions.
Open Sailing bring new standards for aquaculture, with an expansive collection of creation and that fish, algae and other living things are kept close to the station without the need of being caged. For energy production, the station would use generators that collect solar energy, wind and even the movement of waves.
The community in the middle of the ocean is also nomadic, since it is equipped with kites that can take you to other places, increasing the variability of ecosystems with which it interacts. The team is already working on tests to verify the feasibility of the proposed system, but there is no forecast of when the station can go to sea.
Wonderful article, thanks for putting this together! This is obviously one great post. Thanks for the valuable information and insights you have so provided here.RO SYSTEMS Harrisburg SD
