Floating since 1976, this raft of rooms snakes its way down the River Kwai, less than three hours from Bangkok. Individual rafts support each room, each of which has an outdoor deck complete with hammock. In a nod to the area's ethnic culture, the hotel makes an effort to employ local Mon people.
