The submarine ride, new last year, was first on our list. ‘Sharks!’ shouted Max, as our Lego vessel entered the water and the fish swam up to the windows.
‘And mermaids,’ said Mia, pointing to the amazing deep-sea Lego sculptures.
The next day we tried out the pirate-themed splash pool with water blasters, slides and even a see-saw. There were squeals of excitement when I got soaked with the water cannon.
The children then raced to the popular driving school. Here, under-fives are given a quick lesson in how to steer, stop and accelerate, then let loose in giant Lego cars on a mini-road network.
