You will have to pay the hosting fee charged by Hostgator to host your WordPress website on their server.

You won’t have to pay any money to WordPress as WordPress dot org is free to download. You will however have to pay for any premium WordPress themes or plugins that you want to use.

There are free themes and plugins though or you may choose to build your own themes and plugins which cost only your time.
