My temporary £50 desk is now over a year old so I need to get something a bit more permanent. I’m going to get an electric sit/stand desk and thought I’d double check with the hive mind to see if there’s a stand out winner first.
The shortlist so far is the IKEA Bekant, Flexispot E8 and the Fully.com Jarvis V2. It’s probably between the IKEA and Flexispot as the Fully model can get quite expensively once you upgrade to a larger size. I’d normally just go for the IKEA model but the Flexispot has a memory function I’ll probably never use…
I think it's comfortable because the table is wide. This is important if you need to set the table for the PC and next to it could be attached to a laptop, or the side still gather friends and show them how you pass stages of the game. But I would buy a high table so that the monitors are on the side, in front of your eyes + on top. There's extra room for little things like that. But a wide table would make me run from corner to corner, which is uncomfortable for me. But a desk that goes up (to work standing up) is also handy. I bought my wife one from https://eurekaergonomic.com/standing-desks/ when she was pregnant. She says it's comfortable to stand and watch a movie or walk on a treadmill and look straight ahead instead of down.
