When does the LAX Economical Parking Garage open? And how does the economic parking system work?

On October 19, the new Economical Parking at LAX opened to the public. The facility will assist reduce congestion and make transit through the airport easier for everyone by providing free, direct shuttle service to and from airport valet parking. You will park in Economy Lot E (now closed) at LAX every day. The Central Terminal Parking Garage charges $3 per hour and an extra $2 for every thirty minutes. Daily parking is $4 per hour, with a daily maximum of $12. Parking rates at LAX are still being set and may vary in the future. They are intended to provide you with an estimate of how much money you are likely to spend.
