What is the difference between microwave drying machine or vacuum microwave drying ?

Microwave drying machines and vacuum microwave drying are two different methods of drying materials using microwave energy. The main difference between the two methods lies in the way they control the moisture content during the drying process.

A microwave drying machine uses microwave energy to heat and evaporate moisture from the material being dried. This is done by exposing the material to a high frequency electromagnetic field, which causes the water molecules in the material to vibrate and generate heat. The moisture is then evaporated from the material and removed by a ventilation system.

On the other hand, vacuum microwave drying also uses microwave energy, but the process is carried out under reduced pressure. This means that the pressure inside the drying chamber is lower than atmospheric pressure, which allows for the evaporation of moisture at a lower temperature. By reducing the pressure, the boiling point of the water is lowered, which enables the water to evaporate at a lower temperature, preventing damage to the material being dried.

Overall, vacuum microwave drying is a more gentle and efficient method of drying materials, as it allows for lower temperatures and reduced drying times. It is especially useful for heat-sensitive materials that might be damaged by high temperatures or extended exposure to heat.
