I've got IT background but minimal AWS background aside from Cloud Practitioner; a new SaaS Asset Management solution my company is bringing online lives in AWS so I'm loading up. I've scheduled the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam for Dec 1st giving me just over 2 months of dedicated study time, I'll be using the LinuxAcademy material for primary studies. AWS Data Analytics is set for 2/1/21, no current material in mind for this one and AWS Security set for 3/23/21, LinuxAcademy for Security. Hot juggle I know but has anybody else taken these exams and how long did you study? I 100% agree w/ hands-on experience so I'll be living in AWS from now until the end of March essentially. What materials were most useful to you for each? I'm especially dry on the Data Analytics side right at the moment but will be googling all day tomorrow and can definitely share whatever I find.
I noticed this thread is 3 years old, but I'll still try to provide some helpful info for you. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate with studying for multiple AWS certifications, but it's great that you're dedicated to learning and expanding your skills. I haven't personally taken those exams, but I've heard good things about LinuxAcademy as a study resource. In terms of career growth, becoming a power bi data analyst could also be a smart move. Power BI is a powerful data visualization tool that's becoming increasingly popular in the industry, and having skills in that area could be a valuable asset to your IT background.
