While Abhi and King are working on their world music album in separate cities, they both receive a contract to work together in Delhi. Although hesitant at first, Pragya agrees to go with King to Delhi. She assumes that she won’t run into Abhi in Delhi, and is oblivious to the fact that the Mehra family lives there Kumkum Bhagya Written Update .
Upon arrival in Delhi, Pragya helps King get his child enrolled in an international school, which happens to be the same one that Kiara attends. In the process, they both feel each other’s presence. Later, Swarni Dadi arrives at the mansion and doesn’t know that Abhi and Pragya divorced seven years ago.
At the party, Abhi and Pragya see each other at the same time but do not come face-to-face. Both are initially shocked and emotional. But, they soon calm down and enjoy the party. During the performance, Abhi and King ask Pragya to join them on-stage, which leads to them coming face-to-face again.
After their reunion, Pragya is unsure of how to react to Abhi’s harsh words. She is still hurt by the way he blamed her for his father’s death. She also feels that their relationship is irreparable.
Despite all this, Pragya decides to tell King about her feelings. He is surprised to hear this but still loves her. However, he does not want to put his career and his relationship at risk for her. Later, when terrorists break into the school and take everyone hostage, Abhi decides to help Sunny and Kiara escape. Pragya finds out about the attack and tries to save them too. Abhi and Pragya manage to rescue them, but they are separated.
Later, when Purab and Disha go shopping for their anniversary, a mangalsutra from Abhi’s hands lands on Pragya’s neck. Both get emotional and end up flirting with each other. Tanu sees this and taunts Pragya about her past relationship with Abhi.
Afterwards, Abhi and King organize a party to announce their album. They invite their wives. Abhi and Tanu attend the party but they don’t come face-to-face. When King asks Abhi to bring his wife, he agrees, on the condition that Pragya also comes along with him. Pragya is annoyed, but agrees to meet King’s wife. When she comes to the party, Abhi and Pragya finally meet each other. They are both shocked and emotional to see each other again after seven years.

In the upcoming episodes, Pragya is worried about Abhi and rushes to his farmhouse. She is shocked to see his car damaged in the jungle and cries loudly. Meanwhile, Purab arrives and tries to comfort her.

Later, Abhi and Pragya meet again and he explains to her that he has no intention of ending their relationship. He wants to start a new chapter in their life. Seeing this, she gets emotional and decides to leave the city. Meanwhile, she is shocked to learn that Rhea has escaped. Moreover, she is shocked to find drugs in Siddharth’s pocket and flushes the drugs down the drain.

Pragya is irked by Abhi’s comments about her. She feels that he does not want her to be happy, even though she has tried to make him. She also thinks that his hatred for her will always win.
Meanwhile, Munni is waiting for Abhi and when she sees him coming, she warns him that there’s a bomb in her car. Abhi hears her and tries to rush back but he loses control of his car. The bomb explodes and he gets hurt in the process. He wakes up in the hospital and is astonished to find out that Pragya has not visited him. He assumes that she has ignored him.
While in the hospital, Abhi is able to recall everything that happened with her and King. He realizes that he still has feelings for her and asks the doctors to perform a brain surgery on him. The doctor agrees but warns Abhi that it’s a risky procedure.
After hearing the news, Pragya goes to the hospital to visit Abhi. She finds him unconscious and he regains his consciousness after seeing her. He tells her that he misses her and wants to get back together with her. Pragya doesn’t believe him and leaves the hospital.
At the Mehra household, Aliya is fuming at the closeness between Purab and Disha. She tries to slap them but ends up falling down the stairs. She is rushed to the hospital and Abhi is concerned about her condition. He sends King to check on her but he gets frustrated when he is told that she is not there.
While Abhi is in Delhi, he receives a contract to work on a worldwide music album with a Delhi-based organizer. He and King decide to put their egos aside and collaborate on this project. They both sign the contracts and start working on their project. Abhi and King’s egos clash once again when they both think that they are the best. They both try to take credit for their work. Pragya is not happy with this and runs off to her room.
