 Eclipse Magnetics has launched a magnetic lifter for steel lifting called Ultralift E.

Capable of lifting up to 1,000kg – depending on the version – the company says it is ideal for flat-surfaced or round steel billets, bar stock, slabs, plates or other fabrications.

Ultralift E also offers single-person operation, single-face contact, instant engagement and non-marking of load.

Permanent magnetic technology and an integral locking device on the handle ensures the load cannot be released while in mid-lift, while the product also features a 3:1 working load limit safety factor.

Eclipse Magnetics also offers a service care and maintenance package to help achieve the correct annual certification requirements.

“In developing Ultralift E we have developed the latest-generation lifter that ticks every box at an affordable price for our customers and most importantly without compromise on safety or performance,” said sales director David Smith.

The Ultralift range of magnetic lifters is used worldwide by steel fabricators, steelworks, steel stockholders and engineering workshops. Ultralift E extends the range, which currently includes the Ultralift Plus and Ultralift TP models. Ultralift E is available from stock from Eclipse Magnetics’ UK warehouse.
