USoverhead cranecompany Handling Systems International Inc. has announced the addition of nearly 60,000ft2 of manufacturing space in Chicago.
It is the company’s third expansion in five years. The first expansion was to the company’s current headquarters in McCook, Illinois, while the second expansion was a leased facility of 20,000ft² in Summit, Illinois. Handling Systems International is closing down the Summit location to move to Chicago.
“From our humble beginnings, we now have over 120,000ft2 under roof in two facilities,” said company president Jake Rehor. “Growth with our NikoRail enclosed track workstation cranes as well as our I-beam crane and runway structures has been tremendous. Our sales leadership under the direction of Bret Lussow and our growing dealer network have us quickly outgrowing our facilities. These are exciting times, and this additional space should allow us to meet the continued demands of our customers.”
Handling Systems International manufactures of enclosed track workstation cranes, jib and gantry cranes, bridge cranes, and material handling solutions.
