Any property / property legal experts here?

Here is the situation:
  • Neighbour has put house up for sale
  • Don’t get on with them at all so highly unlikely they would sell to me but need that house
  • Thinking of giving lump sum to friend to buy house for me and then give the house back onece deeds are on my name… so no mortgage (or survey or anything like that) is involved

Questions are what kind of complications would could faced in him signing over the deeds to me

Wow, that's a unique situation you're navigating! While I'm not an expert, I'd recommend consulting with a real estate professional to make sure everything goes smoothly. They could help you iron out any potential complications and guide you through the process. Have you considered reaching out to someone specializing in real estate management? They might offer valuable insights! Best of luck with your house hunt—I hope it all works out seamlessly!
