Replacing the Apple Airtag battery is a simple process as below.
1. Check the metal cover on the back of the Airtag unit. Push down and counterclockwise.
2. Whenever it stops cycling, pull up and remove the cover or battery.
3. Insert the new battery with the positive facing up.
4. When you insert the new battery properly, the airtag will beep.
5. Check the correct slot and reinstall the cover as is.
6. Now move the cover clockwise to close the bracket.
