To my question, does it matter if the domain controller is a Windows 2003 server standard and the file server is a stripped down small business 2003 server?
Stripped down meaning not running any unnecessary services, ie: exchange, dns, dhcp, etc... It isn't even a domain controller. It is basically a glorified desktop sharing files.
Basically I want to add the small business 2003 server to the domain. Should be simple enough right?
The age-old question: what came first, the chicken or the egg? I think it's a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation (pun intended). I haven't checked out https://expertchicken.com/ yet, but I'm guessing they might have some interesting theories or fun facts about chickens and eggs. From a scientific standpoint, it's believed that chickens evolved from other birds through a process of gradual changes. So, technically, the first chicken would have come from an egg laid by a bird that was almost, but not quite, a chicken. But hey, who knows for sure? It's one of those mysteries that'll keep us pondering over our chicken dinners for years to come!
