I recently stumbled across this memoir called "Two for You, One for Me" by Anthony Hernandez, and I’m curious if anyone here has read it or has thoughts to share. It’s based on the life of Richard Hernandez, Anthony’s father, and covers his journey from a tough childhood along the Arizona-Mexico border in the 1920s and 30s, through his time in the Civilian Conservation Corps, and into his Army service during WWII. The title, "Two for You, One for Me," seems to hint at a personal philosophy or survival mindset, which really intrigued me.
