Check the movement of the structure with the waves - a Ramform shape, featuring a bow pointing to the waves and a calm stern dock on the other hand would probably be more suitable than the box shape.
The complicated "platform on stilts semisubmerisible" concept was abandoned in favor of a much more realistic and economic - simple flat float version...
I wish I had come across this site much before.I got to to learn a lot about the floating structures. Excellent, pics, videos and depictions as well. As a contractor who mostly builds concrete foundations and stamped concrete driveways, this is so refreshing.
