Our eyes naturally adjust to these different color temperatures. Our cameras don't do that. This is why you need to adjust the white balance based on the lighting conditions in which you are shooting. In most cases, you can simply select one of your camera's white balance presets to adjust the colors so that color casts from the light are canceled out.
