technical documentation for the applicatio

I work for an IT company developing applications and websites. Recently I was told to compile technical documentation for the application.
What is the best way to design it, which fonts to choose, etc.?

If I were you, I would not neglect this part of the work on the application, as it is very important for the full picture of the application. I myself denied it for a long time and entrusted this work to other people, because I thought it was not important. But at some point I started reading articles by type https://clickhelp.com/clickhelp-technical-writing-blog/choosing-fonts-for-technical-documentation/ and I decided that after all, design is still what attracts the client first of all, and no matter which site is good, if it has a bad design, then half of the potential customers will just pass by.
