How to Enables a Multipliers Stock for WooCommerce

If you sell individual products available in a bulk package (such as 4 packs, 6 packs, or 12 packs), this may cause some inventory problems. Of course, it works well if all these products are separate and cannot be divided into parts, but when selling coffee mugs, for example, it is common to order 6 bottles and a single box.

The technique commonly used in WooCommerce for such products is to use product variants to sell bulk packaging of these products. However, there are problems with inventory that you can reduce by using a featureWooCommerce Show Stock Quantity.

Inventory management can be enabled at the product level, but selling a box of 6 coffee mugs does not subtract the right amount, as the customer buys only 1 quantity.

In this post, I'll show you how to reduce products by using product variation multipliers to sell single and multipacks.

Stock Quantity Multiplier for WooCommerce

Set up Stock multipliers by product variation to sell sets/packages that share the same inventory in WooCommerce. Easy Setup to Sell Products.

Sell packages of the same product? Then, you have come to the right place. Our WooCommerce custom stock quantity reduction allows you to sell different quantities of the same effect using varieties.

Inventory management is an integral part of managing an online store - it is also one of the most difficult. Customers appreciate the opportunity to purchase 1, 2, 6, or 10 items. For example, you can offer 2, 4, or 6 sets of coffee cups. What if the customer wants 3? Or one mug as a replacement?

The sale of product packages and individual quantities of the same goods may rise to stock errors in the standard presentation. The solution is to offer additional amounts with variations. The usual further reduction in stock allows you to provide quantitative variations and closely monitor your inventory.

How to enable a multipliers stock for WooCommerce

Let's say you sell milk bottles. The customer has 3 different options to buy 1 bottle, 3 bottles (3 packs), and 6 bottles (6 packs).

When customers buy different product sets, you need stock multipliers for each product variety to keep your inventory levels accurate. Our plugin allows you to set custom reduction factors for each product variety.

Setting up the products

WooCommerce does not handle common multiplier operations by default. WooCommerce always reduces inventory per product sold without our standard inventory reduction plugin. We study how to sell products that are packaged in several quantities.

Because your product will stay the same (bottles) and only the amount of milk bottles sold will change, we will create a varied WooCommerce product. The changing product includes all our options and prices.

For this example, we will sell packets of milk bottles. Therefore, we will set our stock quantity under the Inventory settings (we have 20 bottles), not on some of the varieties themselves. Managing stock at the product level will allow each array to share the stock levels we set in the product inventory.

Product Attributes

By creating our attributes that become our product varieties. Now let's make our properties. These attributes are our three choices for customers to choose from. Let's call it our own "Package," then customers can choose the package they want to buy.

Next, click the variations tab and create your variations from the properties. You can see that 3 selections have been made! And then add product variations of the attributes.

Add Multipliers

Select a variation for each product and add a multiplier in the settings. Usually, when a customer buys 3 options, e.g., three 6-bottles would reduce WooCommerce inventory by just -3. However, with our new stock factor, the stock is reduced by -18, which is the exact number of bottles the customer would buy.

In other words, your customers want to buy 3 cans of milk bottles, which is 18 bottles. They can be mixed and matched with the varieties at will, and all stocks are reduced on the global inventory of the product. You no longer need to worry about the individual variable storage functions!

If the total inventory of a variable product has reached 0, but some variants are still in stock, make sure the managed stock option is turned off for that variety. Because in this case, controlling the amount of WooCommerce creates a conflict with working the total amount of plugins.

Takeaway

WooCommerce custom inventory reduction plugin allows product range multipliers to sell single, multiple boxes, cartons, and packages. In addition, what shares WooCommerce inventory supports both diverse and straightforward changing products by notifying the stock manager via email.
