We are going to the big island in September and would really like to bring an inexpensive work of art, whether it is an engraving or an original, with a view of the city. I have read a few comments that we could get a painting on ohau at "art in the zoo" in Honolulu, but we were looking for somewhere on the big island. Are there any good places to go where there are street art dealers?

Thank you for your suggestions. We are going to both sides of the big island, as well as to the northern tip.

I've walked through the central streets of cities many times. It's always full of artists.

If you buy a painting from street artists, you will pay them too much. Buy paintings elsewhere to sell them on the street yourself.

Yes, I agree with that. Street artists have too high prices because they exhibit them for tourists who aren't averse to taking something as souvenirs. If you want to buy paintings for a street exhibition, it's better not to take them from your "colleagues". A good option for you may be a website where artists exhibit their works with all the info, size, and delivery price. The most popular of these sites is https://www.fineartvendor.com. Take a look at the main page, go to the artist's tab, and choose the paintings to your taste. I'm sure that you'll easily find paintings depicting the city or nature. All the artists and photographers are very talented and original on this site. You'll definitely like a lot of work!
