Nurses to get laid off
Permalink

Alberta Health Services announced today that they are going to lay off several hundred nurses in Alberta. What a shame that our healthcare system has to suffer a blow again. Especially frontline workers. I am sure that there are a lot of high-class, highly paid administrative staff that could be sacrificed. Let the nurses do their job. It is patient care that is being compromised.

Nurses are fired either because of many mistakes or because of a lack of funds distributed to the entire hospital staff, guys. Any work must be detail-oriented and eager to keep things healthy and sanitized, so serious mistakes are strictly suppressed. For non-compliance with the norms, a nurse can really be fired. But first, she gets a reprimand and a few warnings. My friend works as a nurse in a private clinic. She tries never to make mistakes, always cleans the workspace. She is afraid that she may be scolded even for the inappropriate color of her clothes under the robe, so she behaves perfectly at work. This is a good approach to the work of a nurse. Don't you agree with that? I wouldn't want to be bandaged by a bad medical specialist. I always feel uncomfortable when someone gives me an injection into a vein because I'm afraid of air bubbles in the syringe.
