Adguard causing high DPC Latency
Permalink

For example, when using the Windows 10 Edge browser, for example, by simply going msn.com and clicking on one of the links there causes jumps up to 21 thousand!

with Adguard closed , the biggest jump is only 90-200 .

What can cause this problem? it should be a WDF filter or something like that. how can we improve the performance of this adguard filter/driver?

For some reason, closing Adguard and reopening it does not cause problems at the moment..
Since this only happens after Windows restarts, so far at least from this little testing. I checked with ESET Internet Security, it doesn't cause this as I tried to uninstall, reinstall and disable all protection, it was still happening until I closed Adguard.

Why do you use this Edge browser at all?
I thought that no one used it seriously because it works like a brick. But anyways, have you checked your HDD? There might be a problem because so many spins are something unusual.
You should better look at the state of the hard drive, so you don’t need to make HARD DRIVE RECOVERY one day soon. Believe me, this is not something you want to happen to your PC. Especially when you lose a part of your data and no one can help you anymore because you have done too many write cycles and the place on the platter was used for something else
