AC maintenance

Again, this is the time of the year, that is, the time for air conditioning maintenance.  In my case, the alternating current is a Train.

My question concerns the washing of the condenser coils.  There is a heat transfer material with frills attached to the coils; this definitely excludes any high pressure/high flow cleaners because it would be bad to flatten the material with frills.  Whenever the guys from the air conditioner clean them, they just point the garden hose at the coils with a low flow rate.  They often don't even remove the radiator grille.

Whenever I do this, I at least take off the grille.  But for now I'm just copying the technique of the guys from AC.  I feel dissatisfied every time I do this.

What are others doing?

Why do you think that it is bad to smooth out material excesses?

The radiator grille is not removed, because it is often not necessary during repair.

I believe that when repairing or flushing the condenser coils of your air conditioner yourself, you should be very careful. Yes, you don't need to remove the grille for that. Also, if I were you, I'd first consult a professional about this. I believe that fixing such a technique isn't enough just to look at Google. In any case, I most often turn to AC repair like https://airconrepairservice.com/, so I don't do everything myself. I'll feel safer if specialists who deal with it daily do such things. I mean, a person with a lot of experience fixing AC will do everything much better for you. But I wish you good luck because you need it.
