With only six ayahs, it is also one of the shortest surahs (verses). The word "Nas," which means "people," is the first word of the first ayah and serves as the surah's title. This verse serves as a reminder to everyone to turn to Allah and seek refuge in Him when they are in need. Additionally, it exhorts individuals to have confidence in and put their reliance in Allah. The Surah Nas concludes with a call to believers to have patience during trying times, to hold fast to their beliefs, and to have faith in Allah.
