President Trump at Daytona

It is not the first time the president visits Daytona during the 500 Nascar.I do recall Ronald Reagan and Richard Petty won his 200th race.
Few days ago President Trump (with Melania) made his appearance at the Florida oval and with his beast had one lap but not on the banks ( why?).
All the racing cars followed him and his security making a good boost to the race and Nascar. I'm sure he enjoyed that as well as the spectators.

Because it's a heavily armoured limousine and not a racing car?

It's always interesting when politicians make appearances at sporting events. I remember hearing about President Reagan and Richard Petty's win back in the day, but it's cool that President Trump got to experience the excitement of Daytona as well. I'm not sure why he didn't take his beast on the banks, but I'm sure he had his reasons. Maybe he just wanted to make a quick lap to show his support for the sport and its fans. It's awesome that all the racing cars followed him and his security, adding some extra energy to the event. If you want to stay updated on all things politics and racing, I recommend checking out politiq.net. They always have interesting coverage on the latest news and events.
