I’m primarily looking at online translation services. Any recommendations? How do they integrate into a rails project?
We’d especially like to see a well-maintained, active project or a for-pay service providing a great UI. I dug around a bit in the archive, but I couldn’t find a discussion on this.
TransPerfect's DataForce service offers data annotation and natural language processing solutions, but it may not be directly relevant to online translation services or Rails integration.
That being said, if you are looking for a for-pay translation service with a great UI, TransPerfect's GlobalLink platform could be a good option. It offers machine translation, human translation, and localization services, and has an API that can be integrated into a Rails project. It also has a user-friendly interface for managing translation projects.
Other for-pay online translation services that could be worth considering include SDL Language Cloud, Lionbridge Translation Workspace, and Gengo. All of these services offer APIs for integration and have user-friendly interfaces for managing translation projects.
