I’m trying to get together a workout routine and I’m scheduling different muscle groups a certain way for example my chest I’m only doing once a week and same thing with my legs just doing them once a week now as far as abs/calves.. So these are supposedly the two muscles that you can train Non-Stop and they will never get tired so I’m just wondering how often do you train both of these muscles?
Creating a workout routine involves finding the right balance for your goals and recovery. Abs and calves are indeed muscles that can handle more frequent training due to their resilience. For abs, you can incorporate them into your routine 2-3 times a week, mixing different exercises to target the entire core. As for calves, 2-4 times a week with varying exercises and rep ranges can be effective. And when you're ready to diversify your workouts, consider adding some workouts with dumbbells to target different muscle groups and keep things interesting.
