Can you glue the bottoms of laminate flooring together?

I recently got some leftover (about 4 square meters) laminate oak flooring and I'm currently devising what projects I can do with them (I won't be using them for flooring). Does anyone know if it is feasible to glue the undersides of the flooring (the laminated sides) together so that the oak edge is on both the top and bottom? I'll obviously do a test run but thought I'd ask, in case someone has had the same idea in the past.

Your idea of repurposing leftover laminate oak flooring for a project is quite innovative. Gluing the undersides together to have the oak edge on both the top and bottom sounds intriguing. While it's a creative concept, as you mentioned, doing a test run is a wise step to see how well it holds up in practice.

If you're looking for more inspiration or ideas on how to use laminate flooring creatively, you might find some valuable insights on durawall.com.sg. Exploring different possibilities for materials can lead to some fantastic DIY projects.

It's impressive to see you thinking about this project, even if the thread is a couple of years old.
