Newborn rabbits, also known as kits, are incredibly tiny and delicate. When they are first born, they are hairless, blind, and completely dependent on their mother for warmth and nourishment. Their skin is usually pink or gray, and they may appear to be fragile. Within a week or so, they start to grow fur and slowly open their eyes. It's important to handle them with care if needed, but generally, it's best to let the mother take care of them during this early stage.
