How to prepare a wet mount slide on a microscope?

1. Place a Drop of liguid: Place a drop of liauid on the center of clean slides for microscope slide with a pipette.

2. Place the Specimen: if the specimen isn't in the liquid, place it into the drop slow it could be a tiny organism, a small piece of tissue, orother microscopic material.3. Put the Cover slip: Hold the cover slip at a certain angle and gently put it on the drop.The cover slip spreads the liquid out evenly,keeping the specimen fat and stable. Piace one edge ofthe cover slip over the sample first then carefully move the cover slio into thecenter with a toothpick or equivalent. This will help reduce air bubbles.4.Observe: Piace the slide under microscope and begin observe.
