The drawback of the concrete canoe competition is that all those (first semester engineers) get a glimps what you REALLY could do with cement composite structure building - but the "sistem" will doom them to apply a rigid sceem of slabs and colums all their life due to "coding compliance".

Wow! This concrete canoe competition really showcases how the light concrete method can be applied to build much wider structures than building codes allow. I am a little enthusiastic to know if Boom Trucks and Line Pumps are used in such constructions?
