how to do a split

Split testing is a method of testing where a control version of your website is compared to a completely different version to find out which one site visitors respond to best.

It’s best to use split testing for making huge changes. And then use an A/B test to optimize an existing page further once that considerable change has been made.

If you want to redesign an entire web page, for example, keep your current web page as-is for a control.

A split screen is an excellent way to examine two documents or images side by side, or have a rubric or other guide beside a document you are analyzing or grading.

It can be tedious to try to manually resize windows so they each take up exactly half the screen. Fortunately, most major operating systems have an easy way to “snap” an application window to take up exactly half the screen.

Some people are naturally flexible so they can achieve their splits in a week while some people can take up to 5 years or more. And just so you know, your bodily appearance plays no part in getting your splits. It’s about how flexible your tendons and joints are.

But don’t stress, with enough determination you can achieve your splits.

And eventually I was able to touch my toes. I could later touch the ground and eventually I could still touch the ground standing on 3 books! It didn’t take a long time for me to achieve these other moves but when I finally attempted to get my splits, that was when it got difficult.

I stretched everyday for a month and barely made progress. I was beginning to lose interest but I didn’t. After 5 months, I finally got my splits.

Just in case you wanted to know, my usual stretching routine went like this:

·         5 minutes of warm-up

·         Go into pike position and try to touch your toes. Hold for 15 seconds.

·         Open legs up into a straddle and lean to one side. Hold for 15 seconds and then repeat on the other side.

·         Go into the yoga butterfly position and hold for 30 seconds.

·         Hold your splits for one minute. Place pillows under your legs for support if required.
